Informing and negotiating with the union
The relationship between the employer and the trade union is mainly regulated by the Employment (Co-Determination in the Workplace) Act (Swe: lagen om medbestämmande i arbetslivet or “MBL”), in the following referred to as the co-determination act. The provisions contained in the co-determination act includes rules such as rules on the right of association, rules on information and negotiation and rules related to industrial disputes.
